Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will undertake a three-day visit to Gujarat from May 5 to 7, focusing on enhancing investment opportunities in Odisha's rapidly growing sectors such as textiles, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. The visit will kick off with a flagship investors’ roadshow in Ahmedabad, followed by roundtable discussions with prominent business leaders and one-on-one meetings with industry players. The goal is to foster investment intent, leading to the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and the exchange of Investment Intention Forms (IIFs). On May 6, the delegation will visit Mundra Port to explore logistics and port-based industry opportunities, while an investor interaction in Vadodara on May 7 will further engage capital goods manufacturers. Majhi emphasized that Odisha is becoming a preferred investment destination, with strong infrastructure and a skilled workforce, aiming for a prosperous Odisha by 2036.
