Tejas Ghodke, a 24-year-old resident of Morwad village in Renapur taluka, Latur district, Maharashtra, allegedly took his own life after facing severe harassment on social media regarding his love affair. On Friday evening, he was found hanging in a farm, and a suicide note was recovered, indicating the mental distress caused by threats from multiple Instagram accounts. Following a complaint from his father, police registered a case of abetment against seven individuals, including Shivaji Mohite and Rohan Kale, and have detained four of them. The note highlighted the pressure Tejas faced, including threats against his family, which contributed to his tragic decision. Authorities are investigating the case further, and the family is calling for stringent action against those responsible for the harassment.
