On May 11, a 30-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped inside a private bus in Rani Bagh, Delhi. The incident occurred when the woman, a daily wage laborer residing in a slum cluster in Pitampura, was waiting for a bus at Saraswati Vihar. She approached a man at the bus door to ask for the time, after which he allegedly forced her inside the vehicle. The bus driver and conductor, both accused, were arrested at the crime scene following the woman's complaint. Medical examinations confirmed the assault, leading to the registration of a case under relevant sections of the law. The police have seized the bus and are continuing their investigation into the incident.
