The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the appointment of Debasish Panda as the part-time chairman of Bandhan Bank for a three-year term. Panda, an IAS officer from the 1987 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, will succeed Anup Kumar Sinha, who has held the position since the bank's establishment in August 2015.
