The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) director Dhiraj Singh announced that a decision regarding a re-examination will be made after an inquiry into the disruptions at a Delhi entrance test centre. The entrance exam was canceled for candidates in one building due to alleged administrative lapses and security breaches, which resulted in a law-and-order situation. During the first shift, delays in distributing question papers led to chaos, with some candidates reportedly entering a secure area and confronting staff. Following an emergency meeting, authorities decided to cancel both shifts for the affected building. Candidates raised concerns about the integrity of the exam, citing irregularities in handling question paper packets. The Film and Television Institute of India Students’ Association (FTIISA) condemned the management's handling of the situation and called for accountability and a thorough inquiry. FTII officials confirmed that exams at other centres proceeded without issues and emphasized that the inquiry will establish the sequence of events before any further steps are taken.
