The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) announced the cancellation of the JET-2024 exams at two centres: Sardar Patel Public School in Bokaro district and ASTVS District CM School of Excellence in Ranchi. This decision was made due to a shortage of question papers and readability issues for the subjects of education (Code-009) and Oriya (Code-023). Candidates at the Bokaro centre expressed their frustration, leading to a disturbance when they discovered that the Oriya question papers were insufficient. The Bokaro Superintendent of Police, Nathu Singh Meena, confirmed that authorities responded quickly to the situation. The JPSC stated that the rescheduling of the affected examinations will be communicated to students in due course.
