Gallantt Ispat, a prominent iron and steel manufacturing company in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, India, reported a 5.61% increase in consolidated net profit, reaching ₹122.83 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2026, compared to ₹116.30 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. The company's revenue from operations also saw a significant rise of 12.37%, totaling ₹1,204.81 crore. However, the profit before tax experienced a smaller increase of 1.95%, amounting to ₹161.61 crore. Despite these positive results, total expenses surged by 15.39% to ₹1,067.72 crore, primarily driven by a 23.63% increase in the cost of materials consumed, which reached ₹868.26 crore. The board of directors has recommended a final dividend of 20%, equating to ₹2 per equity share of face value ₹10 each, for the financial year ending March 31, 2025. Following the announcement, shares of Gallantt Ispat fell by 3.10% to ₹850 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
