The Iranian embassy has shared a video claiming to show Iranian speed boats chasing an American warship out of the Persian Gulf, amid escalating tensions between Iran and the United States. The video features an Iranian Navy officer taunting American forces, stating, 'This is Iran, the land of lions and Islam, no place for you hyenas to flex your muscles.' In response to perceived threats, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a stern warning to US forces, asserting that any aggression against Iranian oil tankers would result in a heavy assault on American military targets in the region. The IRGC also claimed that its missiles and drones were locked onto US targets, ready to fire if ordered. These developments follow a recent confirmation by US President Donald Trump of an exchange of fire between US and Iranian naval forces in the Strait of Hormuz. The US Central Command reported that American naval forces disabled two Iranian-flagged oil tankers, part of ongoing blockade measures against Iran, while redirecting numerous commercial vessels in the area. The situation remains tense, particularly in the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz.
