On Friday, police in Bijnor district, Uttar Pradesh, India, arrested two more suspects, Zulfiqar alias Raka and Arif Malik, in connection with an alleged terror network led by Aaquib, a Dubai-based individual originally from Meerut district. The arrests follow the earlier detention of four associates of Aaquib. During interrogations, Arif revealed that he had formed a local group aimed at criminal activities and had previously concealed a firing incident orchestrated by Aaquib. Both suspects stated that Aaquib had used social media to share provocative videos, including incitements against a particular community and displays of weaponry. The police, in collaboration with the state Anti-Terror Squad, are actively investigating the case, which was initiated after a video surfaced showing Aaquib with an assault rifle and making anti-India statements. A lookout notice has been issued for Aaquib and his associate Azad, who is also based in Dubai.
