This year, the program expanded beyond traditional cleaning and maintenance tasks to include family-oriented activities where households collectively cleaned, repaired, and decorated classrooms. Education Secretary Sonny Angara highlighted that Brigada Eskwela has become a celebration of community spirit. Schools across the nation reported strong family turnout, with friendly competitions showcasing participation, such as a family of 19 members winning at Alejandra L. Navarro National High School in Davao City. The week-long event also featured health and wellness services, including medical missions and pet care initiatives, fostering a sense of community involvement and support for students and their families. Parents and stakeholders expressed that their contributions significantly enhance the learning environment, making classrooms more welcoming and conducive to education.
