In a tragic incident in Preet Vihar, East Delhi, 34-year-old businessman Pankaj Nayyar was shot dead by his neighbor, Gaurav Sharma, following a series of escalating arguments over parking. The dispute began on Sunday night and intensified into a physical confrontation early Monday morning. Nayyar had come to support his brother, Paras Nayyar, who had been involved in the initial argument with Sharma. After several confrontations, Sharma allegedly pulled out a pistol and shot Pankaj in the chest, leading to his death shortly after being rushed to a hospital. Police responded to multiple calls regarding the incident and arrested Sharma approximately 13 hours later in northwest Delhi's Model Town. The police have registered a case of murder and are searching for Sharma's accomplices. Pankaj, a resident of Noida, is survived by his wife and six-year-old son, with another child expected soon. His father expressed disbelief over the tragic outcome of what began as a minor dispute, calling for justice for his son.
