Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami praised AIIMS Rishikesh for its healthcare services, particularly in remote areas, and encouraged graduates to work in rural communities. The executive director of AIIMS Rishikesh, Dr. Meenu Singh, announced the upcoming operationalization of a 280-bed satellite center in Kichha, which has already benefited over 50,000 patients through telemedicine services.
