On April 13, a woman in Hargovind Enclave, South Delhi, was robbed by five men who posed as aides sent by her husband. The assailants confined her in a bathroom, assaulted her, and fled with cash and jewellery valued at approximately ₹45 lakh (around $54,000 USD). The police quickly identified one of the suspects, Parthvi Singh, who had prior knowledge of the victim's home. Within 12 hours, three of the accused were apprehended in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Following interrogation, police arrested additional suspects and recovered various stolen items, including gold and silver jewellery. The accused have a history of involvement in similar crimes in Rajasthan, and efforts are ongoing to capture the remaining suspect.
