Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is reportedly contemplating filing a complaint with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) following a series of contentious decisions in their recent Indian Premier League (IPL) matches. The franchise expressed dissatisfaction with the dismissal of Heinrich Klaasen during their IPL 2026 opener against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, where Klaasen was caught by Phil Salt near the boundary. The TV umpire could not find conclusive evidence to overturn the on-field decision. Similarly, Abhishek Sharma was dismissed for 48 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders after a catch by Varun Chakaravarthy, which also lacked clear evidence upon review. SRH's frustration escalated during their match against Lucknow Super Giants when Avesh Khan inadvertently struck the ball back onto the field with his bat before it crossed the boundary, raising questions about potential penalties for LSG. Currently, SRH is fifth on the points table with two points from three matches and will face Punjab Kings next in Mullanpur.
