On Monday morning, Ramjas College and Miranda House, both part of Delhi University, received bomb threat emails that caused significant alarm. The email sent to Ramjas College claimed that 13 poisonous gas-filled bombs would detonate at 12:50 PM, specifically instructing the evacuation of Muslim students. The threats also included disturbing references to harming the children of a political leader from Tamil Nadu. Following the receipt of the email, Ramjas College principal Ajay Arora initiated an evacuation around 11 AM, with police and bomb disposal teams arriving shortly thereafter. Despite the tense situation, thorough searches revealed no explosives, leading authorities to declare the threats a hoax.
