The Avsar 2026 placement drive at Panjab University (PU) in Chandigarh, India, successfully shortlisted over 100 students for job opportunities. The event, organized by the Central Placement Cell (CPC), attracted more than 300 students from 22 departments, including sciences, management, and arts. Federal Bank is set to conduct face-to-face interviews in the third week of April, offering the highest salary packages ranging from ₹13.08 lakh to ₹17.22 lakh per annum. Other participating companies included SRH International, VerbIQ, and Aakash Institute, with salary bands varying from ₹3.5 lakh to ₹10 lakh per annum.
