Christina Marie Plante, who disappeared from Star Valley, Arizona, at the age of 13 on May 15, 1994, has been located alive after 32 years. The Gila County Sheriff's Office announced the resolution of this long-standing missing person case, stating that extensive search efforts initially failed to yield leads. Over the years, Plante was entered into national missing children databases, and her case remained open as investigators revisited the evidence. Recently, advances in technology and the establishment of a Cold Case Unit led to new breakthroughs. Plante was found living in Springfield, Missouri, under a different name, where she has built a life with her husband, Shaun Hollon, and their three children. She confirmed to authorities that she left her home voluntarily, assisted by family members. Plante has since earned a psychology degree and works for a private investigations firm. The Sheriff's Office emphasized the importance of cold case reviews and the role of evolving technology in solving such cases.
