This lane was also the residence of Munna, a revered transgender figure who lived with younger members of the community. Known affectionately as a guru, Munna fostered a close-knit environment where residents shared daily rituals over sugary chai and engaged in lively discussions. Her vibrant personality and distinctive style left a lasting impression on those around her. Recently, Munna passed away, leaving her community in mourning. Imran, a local rickshaw puller, recalls the moment she fell, marking a poignant end to her presence in the lane. Following her death, the original residents moved on, and a new group of transgender individuals has since occupied the space, transforming it into a more private setting. Despite the change, the memory of Munna continues to resonate within the community, illustrating the transient yet impactful nature of life in a city like Delhi.
