In Greater Noida West, a significant infrastructure initiative is underway to address rising traffic congestion, particularly at the Char Murti intersection. The underpass project, estimated at ₹100 crore (approximately $12 million USD), aims to improve connectivity between Greater Noida, Noida Extension, and Ghaziabad. Local officials, including Dadri MLA Tejpal Nagar, have conducted site assessments to ensure that construction standards are maintained and timelines adhered to. Nagar emphasized the importance of timely execution, stating that delays would adversely affect residents. Alongside the underpass, a 60-metre road widening project is also in progress to accommodate the increasing vehicular load resulting from rapid urbanization. A senior official from the Greater Noida authority, Prabhat Shankar, highlighted that these infrastructure developments are essential for improving traffic flow and enhancing civic amenities in the area, which has seen a substantial rise in residential occupancy in recent years. The ongoing projects are closely monitored to ensure they meet the demands of the growing population.
