Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have assured that the supply of petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in Punjab is stable and adequate to meet current demand. Ashutosh Gupta, executive director of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and state coordinator for Punjab, stated that the stock levels of motor spirit (MS) and high-speed diesel (HSD) are normal across the state. Retail outlets are well-stocked, ensuring uninterrupted sales. Regarding LPG, the inventory at bottling plants is also comfortable, with planned replenishments to maintain adequate supply. OMCs are closely monitoring the situation and have streamlined logistics to expedite deliveries. Consumers are advised to refrain from panic purchasing, as sufficient stocks are available. Additionally, LPG consumers are encouraged to book cylinders digitally and confirm receipt through a delivery authentication code (DAC) to facilitate a smooth delivery process.
