During the inauguration of the 3rd All India Moot Court Competition at Vivekananda Law College in Puttur, S Abdul Nazeer (Governor of Andhra Pradesh) stated that education must extend beyond mere literacy to truly train the mind. He noted the evolution of judicial education in India from an informal system to a structured framework that adapts to advancements in law and technology. Nazeer emphasized the need for continuous learning to improve the quality of justice and court management. Chief guest Justice N Kotiswar Singh added that moot court competitions are essential for developing students' analytical skills, highlighting that losing an argument in such settings is not detrimental compared to real court losses. He also remarked on India's potential as an emerging global power, underscoring the significant role young lawyers will play in this development.
