Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has made a significant entry into the B2B industrial electronics sector by launching L&T Electronic Products & Systems (LTEPS). The new division will operate from its Coimbatore campus in Tamil Nadu, India, and aims to enhance the country's electronics manufacturing ecosystem. L&T Chairman & Managing Director S N Subrahmanyan emphasized that this venture is crucial for achieving the company's Lakshya 2031 goal of strengthening technology leadership and promoting self-reliance in critical manufacturing sectors. Looking forward, LTEPS has ambitious expansion plans, aiming to utilize a 40-acre zone within the Coimbatore campus to encompass the entire industrial electronics value chain, including R&D, product development, contract manufacturing, and testing services.
