Following scrutiny from the National Medical Commission (NMC), students claim they were forced to sign documents affirming that their stipends were being paid according to regulations. Reports indicate that students were summoned department-wise, had their mobile phones confiscated, and faced threats of severe consequences if they did not comply. The declaration required students to confirm the regularity of their stipend payments and the absence of any delays or irregularities, emphasizing that the submission was voluntary. This situation has emerged amidst ongoing concerns about the management's practices regarding stipend disbursement.
