In preparation for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) scheduled for May 3, 2026, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a directive to all medical colleges in India to deny leave to students on May 2 and 3. This decision follows an education ministry directive aimed at preserving the examination's integrity, particularly in light of past incidents of misconduct.
