The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has released the Madhyamik Result for 2026, showcasing an overall pass percentage of 86.83%, a slight increase from last year's 86.56%. Abhiroop Bhadra, a student from Sarada Vidya Mandir in Islampur, Uttar Dinajpur, topped the exam with an impressive score of 99.71%. The competition was fierce, with 131 students securing places in the top 10. Notably, North Dinajpur district excelled, contributing 14 students to the top ranks, the highest from any district. The results highlighted a narrow margin of only 8 marks separating the top scorer from the student in tenth place, who scored 98.29%. Students can check their results online at the official WBBSE websites or via SMS for those with connectivity issues. The Madhyamik examination took place from February 2 to February 12, 2026.
