The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) released the WB 10th Result 2026 on May 8. Abhiroop Bhadra secured the top position with an impressive 99.71%. The top five rank holders include Priyotosh Mukherjee with 99.43%, and a trio of students—Souro Jana, Ankan Kumar Jana, and Mainak Mandal—each achieving 99.29%. The overall pass percentage for regular candidates was 86.83%, with Kolkata achieving over 92% and Kalimpong leading with over 95%. A total of 9,59,753 candidates sat for the Madhyamik examination, which took place from February 2 to February 12, 2025. The examination consisted of one paper each day, starting at 10:45 a.m. and concluding at 2 p.m.
