In the ongoing TCS Nashik sexual harassment case, Nida Khan's family has vehemently denied the charges against her, asserting that they are politically motivated. Nida's father stated that she is being falsely implicated, particularly in light of the recent arrest of a local godman, Ashok Kharat, in a separate rape case. The family claims Nida, who is currently pregnant and residing at her in-laws' home in Bhiwandi, has no connection to the complainant and respects all religions. The case has attracted significant attention due to multiple allegations against a group targeting young female employees at the TCS Nashik BPO unit, with nine FIRs filed, including one from a male employee citing religious harassment. Police have arrested eight individuals, including those in senior positions, for allegedly using their influence to harass colleagues. Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran has described the situation as “gravely concerning” and confirmed that TCS COO Arathi Subramanian is leading an investigation to ascertain the facts and ensure accountability.
