Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced that it has not received any internal complaints regarding the serious allegations of religious conversion and sexual misconduct at its Nashik unit. The company stated that a preliminary review of its ethics and prevention of sexual harassment (POSH) channels revealed no such complaints. Amidst the ongoing police investigation, which has resulted in the arrest of seven employees, including a woman HR head, TCS has established an oversight panel to conduct an internal probe. This panel will be chaired by Keki Mistry, an independent director on the company board. The allegations surfaced after a woman accused a colleague, Danish Sheikh, of coercing her into a physical relationship under false pretenses. Further investigations have led to additional claims from seven other women alleging harassment by senior colleagues. TCS has suspended all employees linked to the case and reiterated its commitment to a zero-tolerance policy on harassment.
