Upon arrival, officers discovered Brooks dead in the car, which was located near the Bennington Park Townhomes, just north of the Missouri River. Capt. Jake Becchina of the police department noted that Brooks was found in a deep state of decomposition. He was last seen driving a gold 2003 Jeep Liberty on the day he went missing.
