Other agencies have released varied projections, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) estimated to win between 161 and 208 seats, while the Trinamool Congress (TMC) is projected to secure between 177 and 205 seats. The Left parties and Congress are anticipated to perform poorly, with many forecasts suggesting their combined seat share will remain in single digits. The West Bengal assembly consists of 294 seats, with 148 needed for a majority, making the election outcome critical for both major parties.
