A total of 62,841 students from 578 schools participated in the exams, with 59,967 passing. Girls led with a pass percentage of 97.10%, while boys recorded 93.57%. The district's overall ranking improved from 23 to 20 this year. Additionally, 170 schools achieved a perfect pass rate, including 34 government and aided institutions. The chief education officer, M Kabir, attributed this success to enhanced teaching methods, including monthly practice tests and increased revision classes, reflecting the commitment of teachers to student success.
