On Saturday, the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) conducted a direct recruitment examination for laboratory assistants in Tonk district, Rajasthan, with 47,457 candidates registered. Authorities implemented strict security measures, including a dress code that prohibited jewelry and electronic devices, leading many women candidates to remove items like mangalsutras and bangles at the gates. The examination began on time, thanks to rigorous biometric verification and facial recognition scans. To support candidates, the state government provided free bus services through Rajasthan Roadways for travel to examination centers. Additional District Magistrate Ramratan Sokaria announced that a control room and multiple vigilance teams were established to monitor the process closely and prevent malpractice. Similar security protocols are expected to continue for the next examination day on May 10.
