BJP legislator Manoj Tigga criticized the Trinamool Congress (TMC), asserting that it lacks ideology, principles, and vision, which he believes indicates the party's bleak future. He claimed that the TMC is attempting to secure a future through the INDIA Alliance, but he views this as futile, noting that parties in Bengal that lose power typically do not recover. Tigga described the INDIA Alliance as a coalition of self-interested individuals focused solely on defeating the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) without any long-term plans. West Bengal Minister Agnimitra Paul supported these claims, stating that the TMC is in disarray under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee. She mentioned that key opposition parties, such as the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, would not attend the upcoming INDIA Alliance meeting, further indicating the TMC's declining influence. Paul also referenced allegations regarding a potential understanding between CPI-M and BJP, questioning the legitimacy of the INDIA bloc.
