DJI has launched the Osmo Mobile 8P, a smartphone gimbal designed for content creators, featuring a detachable remote control with a built-in screen. This new gimbal enhances the user experience by allowing solo creators to capture videos remotely, utilizing DJI's latest tracking technology to keep subjects centered even in crowded settings. The gimbal is equipped with a three-axis stabilization system and supports both iPhone and Android devices through the Multifunctional Module 2. It includes a built-in 8.5-inch extension rod and tripod feet for versatile shooting options. The remote control allows users to operate the gimbal from over 150 feet away, with a battery life of 10 hours. The Osmo Mobile 8P also supports various camera apps, including DJI's Mimo app, and includes creative features like DynamicZoom and Slow Shutter for unique video effects. The gimbal is currently available in Europe, with prices starting at £135/€145 for the standard combo and higher for advanced packages. Availability in the US is expected later.
