The Delhi government, under the leadership of Information Technology Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh, is set to establish two Artificial Intelligence Centres of Excellence (AI-CoEs) as part of the IndiaAI Mission by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). With a projected outreach of around 100 startups and training for more than 7,000 individuals, these centres aim to create over 1,000 jobs within four years. Each centre will be funded with ₹20 crore (approximately $2.4 million USD) through a collaborative model involving MeitY, the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD), and industry partners.
