The Karnataka government has entered into a partnership with Naukri.com, a division of Info Edge India Limited, to bolster the establishment of Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in the state. This collaboration, facilitated through the Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS), aims to provide structured access to high-quality talent solutions, particularly in regions such as Mysuru, Mangaluru, Hubballi-Dharwad-Belagavi, Kalaburagi, Tumakuru, and Shivamogga, beyond the capital city of Bengaluru. Under this MoU, which is effective for two years, Naukri.com will offer a customized GCC starter package to newly established centres, granting them zero-cost access for the first 90 days. This package includes employer branding, assisted hiring services, and premium talent sourcing tools, helping GCCs quickly build capable teams during their foundational phase. Karnataka's Minister for Electronics, IT, and Biotechnology, Priyank Kharge, emphasized the importance of this initiative in enhancing the state's talent pool and innovation ecosystem. The partnership is part of the broader KATALYST initiative, aimed at fostering a supportive environment for GCCs and ensuring inclusive growth across Karnataka.
