The West Bengal Higher Secondary Education Council (WBCHSE) has announced that the results for the 2026 Higher Secondary exams will be released on May 14 at 10:30 AM. Students will be able to access their results starting at 11 AM on the official WBCHSE websites, wbchse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in. This year, over 7 lakh candidates are awaiting their results, which will be published 85 days after the exams concluded on February 27. To pass, students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject. The grading system awards first division to those scoring 480 and above, second division for scores between 360 and 479, and third division for scores between 272 and 359. Last year, 4,30,286 students passed out of 4,73,919 who appeared, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 90.79%.
