The National Testing Agency (NTA) is preparing to conduct the UGC NET June 2026 examination from June 22 to June 30, 2026. The City Intimation Slip will be released by June 10, 2026, allowing candidates to know their exam center locations. Approximately 10 lakh candidates are expected to participate in this Computer Based Test (CBT) across 87 subjects, which determines eligibility for the Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor roles in Indian universities. Candidates can download their City Slip using their login credentials on the official NTA website. It is important to note that the City Slip is not the same as the admit card, which will be available from June 15, 2026, and provides crucial details including exam venue and timing. The City Intimation Slip will include the exam schedule, city location, and travel planning information, enabling candidates to prepare accordingly.
