The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced 160 paid internship opportunities at its Research Centre Imarat (RCI) in Hyderabad, aimed at final-year students in engineering and science disciplines. This six-month internship program offers a monthly stipend of ₹5,000, provided interns attend at least 15 working days per month. Eligible candidates include B.Tech students in their 7th and 8th semesters and postgraduate students in Physics and Chemistry from recognized Indian universities. Applications must be submitted by June 20, 2026, with selection notifications expected in the second week of July 2026 and the internship commencing on August 3, 2026. Selection will be based on academic performance, online interviews, and document verification. Interns will receive an internship certificate upon successful completion, but no boarding or lodging will be provided.
