On Saturday, six candidates were arrested in Ranchi, Jharkhand, for allegedly using digital methods to cheat during the SSC GD Constable Examination. Ranchi City Superintendent of Police Paras Rana reported that the candidates were assisted through remote access systems, with their computers connected to a master computer that solved exam questions automatically. The incident was reported by an examination center observer, leading to police intervention. Authorities seized six computers, two CCTV DVRs, routers, and mobile devices linked to the cheating operation. Among the arrested, three candidates are from Bihar, while the others hail from Koderma, Hazaribag, and Gumla in Jharkhand. The owner and staff of the examination center are currently on the run as investigations continue, with indications of similar cheating patterns in other cities, including Dehradun.
