Atishi, a prominent leader in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), defended former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's remarks regarding India's Gen Z and the recent National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) question paper leak. Kejriwal suggested that the youth should draw inspiration from protests in Nepal and Bangladesh to demand justice for the alleged paper leak. Atishi clarified that Kejriwal was not advocating violence but rather encouraging young people to hold accountable those responsible for corruption in examinations. She pointed out the strict regulations faced by NEET aspirants while highlighting the lack of accountability for exam administrators. In response to criticism from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, who accused Kejriwal of promoting unrest, Atishi reiterated that the AAP has always supported peaceful protests and democratic accountability. She stressed the necessity for Gen Z to voice their concerns to prevent recurring issues in the education system.
