Rhevanth Charan, representing the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party, is on track to become one of the youngest Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Tamil Nadu, India, at just 30 years old. In an exclusive interview with NDTV, Charan expressed strong confidence in TVK's electoral performance, which he attributes to a clear anti-incumbency wave against the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK). He noted that the party's strategy of selecting candidates from humble backgrounds resonated well with voters, stating, 'Our leader Vijay trusted grassroots leaders, gave them tickets, and backed them fully.' Charan dismissed speculation about a hung assembly, asserting that there is 'no fear of instability' and that the party is poised to form the government. He mentioned that decisions regarding alliances would be made by the party's leadership. Additionally, Charan addressed concerns about political poaching, asserting that TVK's MLAs cannot be bought.
