On Thursday, Acharya Devvrat, the Governor of Gujarat, visited Kurukshetra, Haryana, where he arrived by the Shatabdi train. To promote environmental conservation, he cycled from the railway station to Gurukul, accompanied by 200 cyclists, including athletes and members of various organizations. Devvrat urged citizens to heed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to minimize fuel consumption and support indigenous products to bolster India's economy. He announced that he would refrain from air travel within India until normalcy is restored and limited his official convoy to three vehicles. At Gurukul, he encouraged students to spread the message of fuel conservation and highlighted the success of natural farming practices, which have been implemented on 200 acres of land at Gurukul.
