Vipul Organics Ltd, a specialty chemicals manufacturer, has launched commercial sales of membranes through its unit, AdiMem Technologies, at its facility in Sayakha, Gujarat. The company aims for membranes and membrane-based solutions to contribute 25% of its total revenue within three years. The membranes include Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Ultrafiltration (UF) technologies, designed to support India's filtration market, which is projected to reach $6.33 billion by 2033. AdiMem's offerings will also include end-to-end effluent and sewage treatment plants, catering to various industrial sectors such as chemicals and pharmaceuticals. The membrane separation technology market is growing at an 11.52% compound annual growth rate, driven by initiatives like Zero Liquid Discharge and the Namami Gange programme. Vipul Organics is committed to sustainability, with its membranes enabling up to 90% water recovery and a focus on recycling 98% of its effluent.
