SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd (SBI Card) announced a 14% increase in net profit for the fourth quarter of FY26, reaching ₹609 crore compared to ₹534 crore in the same period last year. Total income also saw a significant rise, climbing to ₹5,187 crore from ₹4,832 crore. However, the company experienced a decline in interest income, which fell to ₹2,382 crore from ₹2,415 crore year-on-year. On a positive note, the company's gross non-performing assets (NPAs) decreased to 2.41% of gross advances, down from 3.08% as of March 31, 2025. Net NPAs also improved, dropping to 1.04% from 1.46%. This led to a reduction in impairment losses and bad debts, which eased to ₹1,097 crore from ₹1,245 crore in the previous year. For the entire fiscal year 2025-26, SBI Card reported a profit increase of 13%, totaling ₹2,167 crore, up from ₹1,916 crore the previous year, with total income rising to ₹20,708 crore from ₹18,637 crore.
