During the 'Somnath Swabhiman Parva' event held at the Shree Sangmeshwar Mahadev Temple in Pehowa, Kurukshetra, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated that the Somnath Temple is more than just a place of worship; it represents India's 'Sanatan' consciousness and national pride. He noted that the temple has inspired resilience and strength in the nation throughout its history, having been attacked and rebuilt multiple times. The CM announced that a special pilgrimage train will depart from Haryana on June 8 under the 'Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana' to facilitate economically weaker senior citizens visiting the temple.
