Prateek Yadav, the 38-year-old son of Mulayam Singh Yadav, the patriarch of the Samajwadi Party, was declared dead at 5:55 am on Wednesday in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. According to Dr. GP Gupta, director of the Civil Hospital, Prateek's health deteriorated rapidly, prompting a medical team to be dispatched to his residence around 5 am. Despite efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. Prateek, who largely stayed out of the political spotlight, focused on business ventures, including owning a gym called “The Fitness Planet” in Lucknow. He was also dedicated to animal welfare, running an organization named “Jeev Ashray” that cared for stray dogs. His death is currently under investigation, with authorities awaiting the results of a postmortem report.
