In the early hours of Tuesday, two armed men reportedly opened fire at a family's house in Guru Nanak Estate, Tajpur village, Ludhiana district, Punjab. The incident was allegedly triggered by disputes over a young woman's lifestyle, particularly her choice of clothing and companionship. The family claims that 24 shots were fired, while police recovered only four bullet shells at the scene. The accused have been identified as Puneet Bains (alias Mani Bains) and Vishal Gill, among others. An FIR has been registered by Kiran Garg against several individuals, including Sunidhi Manocha (alias Naina), her accomplices, and 8-10 unidentified persons. The complainant stated that tensions arose after they advised Naina's parents to arrange her marriage, leading to her anger and the subsequent attack. The attackers allegedly damaged property before firing shots. Police are investigating the incident, and CCTV footage has been secured for evidence.
