On Saturday afternoon in Shivaji Nagar, Gurugram, Haryana, a Thar vehicle lost control and rammed into an Alto, completely crushing its front. The occupants of the Alto were trapped inside but were rescued by local residents. Following the collision, the Thar driver allegedly threatened the victims, claiming he would call his friends for retribution. Vikas Kumar, one of the Alto's occupants, reported that he had just stopped his vehicle after servicing it. The Thar was reportedly speeding when it collided with the Alto. After the crash, the Thar driver attempted to flee but was stopped due to a wheel detaching from the vehicle. Police arrived at the scene, took the Thar into custody, and initiated further action based on the victims' complaint. Notably, the Thar had blacked-out windows and bore a Haryana Police logo, raising questions about its use.
