In a disturbing case from Janakpuri, West Delhi, a female teacher at a private school was arrested for her alleged role in the rape of a three-year-old girl by a 57-year-old caretaker. The incident reportedly occurred on April 30, just two days after the child began attending the school. Following a complaint lodged on May 1, police registered a First Information Report (FIR) under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The caretaker was identified by the child and initially taken into custody, but he was granted bail on May 7. The police are appealing this bail decision.
